Shell Canada Ltd. President and CEO Clive Mather will deliver an exclusive briefing designed to provide insight to UK companies looking to internationalise their business in Canada's oil sands.
Reservations are available online at http://www.uktioilandgas.co.uk
Drawing from his 37 years of industry experience and as leader of one of Canada's largest oil sands developers, Mather will speak frankly about the opportunities and challenges in developing Alberta's world-scale oil sands resource. He will provide insight into the "technology and geology" of the operations and outline specific areas of opportunity for UK investors and suppliers ranging from project management to environmental technology and services.
The seminar is jointly organised by UK Trade & Investment, the Government of Alberta, Calgary Economic Development, the High Commission of Canada and Business Gateway International / Scottish Development International.
Companies interested in exploring the opportunities in Alberta's oil sands can do so by participating in two forthcoming UK Trade & Investment oil and gas missions to the Alberta Oil Sands Buyer-Seller Forum in Edmonton in March and to the Go-Expo Conference and Exhibition in Calgary in June.
