SPE Applied Technology Workshop (ATW) on water management
At the recent SPE ATW, "Integrated Water Management: From Planning to Operations", held in Edinburgh, UK, a number of engineers reviewed the latest technologies and strategies for improved oil field water management.
This work is key in addressing the growing challenges of effective water management across all phases of field development including environmental and regulatory concerns. This includes heavy oil production which introduces additional water management demands on field planning and operations.
