New approach for modeling thermal fluids in heavy oil simulation
Thermal reservoir simulation is a key part of heavy oil production planning and recovery optimization. This paper describes computational techniques designed especially for heavy oil applications and use in numerical simulators. The methods are based on a fluid characterized by pressure and temperature dependent K-values.
