HeavyOilinfo.com – What’s it all about?

last modified 2007-03-18 03:55

This HeavyOilinfo.com initiative represents a new chapter for the heavy oil community, and for Schlumberger. For the community, it is a venue where you can find out about the key issues affecting the heavy oil industry, read the discussions, and join the debate. We have partnered with some of the world’s leading heavy oil research organizations to deliver some challenging topics on a regular basis.

These debates will be hosted by key figures - in the Forums section of the site. I’m very excited about the first topics.

Make sure you check in regularly to find out what’s going on, and to join the debate. To see future topics for debate and when they will start, sign up to receive our e-newsletter.

To better service you and the global heavy oil community, we need to understand your concerns about heavy oil. As a service company we are judged by the service answers we deliver to you, our customers, and how relevant they are to your specific challenges.  So, with the aim of  improving our offerings’ relevance to you, and to play a small part in the future development of the heavy oil industry’s development, we will watch the debates with interest.

I’ll be posting thought-provoking information here on a regular basis, and I look forward to receiving your feedback.
