Electrically enhanced oil recovery

Deloro Resources Ltd. in Vancouver Canada recently completed a pilot using electrically enhanced oil recovery (EEOR) technology.

EEOR is a non-thermal recovery approach that applies DC electrical current which upgrades and mobilizes heavy oils in-situ. The approach is promising if it can be proven at scale within the Wilkie field. You can read more about EEOR and a recent announcement of the pilot here.
